The project implementation team of PrimePoint Partners Macedonia & Montenegro held a public consultation process to engage the people of Makedonska Kamenica in the ongoing project “Sustainable economic development of Makedonska Kamenica”. The project aims to encourage the creation of businesses in new sectors by supporting them with mentorships and business counseling, access to finance, and market placement of products and services.
More than 50 citizens, including public and non-governmental institutions, local enterprises, farmers, artisans, and representatives of educational and scientific institutions, attended the event and shared their ideas for projects that could have a long-term impact on the municipality. Through active participation in the workshops, together with our experts on tourism – Maja Blazev, and agriculture – Lazo Dimitrov, the locals identified the municipality’s potential for developing businesses in the field of tourism and agriculture that could be supported in the next phases of the project.
