Zoran Martinovski, President at PrimePoint Partners, and Katia Balducci, President at Navigo Italy have signed a partnership agreement whereby the Italian association has appointed PrimePoint as their main partner for the Balkans countries which are part of the southeast Mediterranean area (Adriatic, Ionian, Aegean, and the Black sea) and the fresh-water basins of the Danube river and larger lakes.
Navigo is the largest network of nautical companies in Italy, and one of the most important in Europe. Being the center of yachting services and the managing body of the Technological District for Nautical and Port in Tuscany, Navigo provides expertise in cluster creation, nautical innovation, reskilling, and upskilling of staff as well as development and implementation of maritime projects related to the clean environment, green economy, job creation, supply chain linkages, etc.
PrimePoint Partners will work with Navigo in assisting the cluster of companies from the nautical industry in developing partnerships with regional companies and institutions, sharing know-how and technology transfer from Italy to the regional countries, and identifying potential suppliers and partners to the Italian companies.
On behalf of the Region of Tuscany, NAVIGO coordinates the network of Tuscan nautical centers through RETE PENTA and organizes YARE (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience), one of the most important international business events in the yachting industry. It also manages ISYL Foundation, the training School for future Captains and yachting industry experts. Over 350 industry companies are associated with RETE PENTA and around 150 are part of Navigo, including major shipyards and suppliers in the area, yacht managers, ground and quay service companies, ports, and major industry associations. NAVIGO is a partner of the ITALIAN NATIONAL TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER 2020. It participates at the WG MARE table, building technological roadmaps for the CLUSTER related to PNR, MUIR, and European sector programs.
