Green-tech Accelerator Workshops Recap of Week 1

PrimeAccelerator, together with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs is implementing the first green tech pre-acceleration program for Macedonia and Kosovo.Given that the program is underway, we wanted to show you a glimpse of the amazing workshops that the enrolled participants have a chance to attend. This week we have completed three out of the six workshops, including:

We kicked off the training with workshops on “Ideation and Creative Thinking” and “Business Model Canvas” presented by PrimePoint’s key expert on acceleration programs, Michael Mizrahi. Michael is the Head of Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Authority at the Azrieli College of Engineering in Jerusalem, and also the head of the AtoBe Accelerator.

The second workshop was led by Yair Engel who talked about design for sustainability, green canvas, and city sustainability.  Yair is a Founder & Director at Kayama – Center for Sustainable Design from Tel Aviv, Israel and is one of the leading Israeli experts on sustainable design and circular economy.

The third workshop this week was presented by PrimePoint’s key tehnical expert Jasmina Popovska, who shared her enormous experience in Access to Finance, and which sources of finance a startup could obtain given the development stage they are in.  Jasmina is the Business Creation Manager at EIT Manufacturing in Austria and has over 15 years of experience in fund management and the financial services industry. Over the past 8 years, she is  working as an enabler in the innovation ecosystem and is working directly with start-ups. She is a member of the management board in several foundations, a mentor to early-stage innovative companies, and a Ph.D. candidate in innovation policy. As a member of PrimePoint Partners Advisory Board, Jasmina advises on topics of access to finance, open innovation, and technology commercialization, amongst others.
