The Intelligent Cross-Border Business Accelerator (iCBA) officially started today, successfully kicking off in Macedonia with 55 registered companies from across the country (start-ups and teams) and around 90 individual participants with great business ideas. The program training is led by a renowned group of lecturers and mentors from diverse backgrounds within the business and academic sectors. Day 1 started with Professors Tashko Rizov and Dragan Shutevski from Macedonia, and Professor Anastasios Ntabizas from Greece who spoke about ideation, business model canvas, and business model testing, MVP, etc. The feedback from the participants has been amazing, and they all shared how valuable this knowledge is for the creation and development of their businesses.
As part of the business accelerator, participants will be able to take part in a business ideas competition in Ohrid in mid-July, of whom the finalists will be given the opportunity to take part in finals in Thessaloniki in mid-September and receive valuable awards. With the aim of strengthening entrepreneurship in the cross-border region between Greece and Macedonia, this accelerator is bound to foster change and economic growth by inspiring businesses to be and do more. We wish all participants good luck and are looking forward to seeing all their business ideas successfully materialise!
