Short bio:
Rok Habinc manages STH Management’s venture investments. Targeted companies domicile in Slovenia or elsewhere in the region and are developing a product/service with global reach. The developed product/service adds to environmental sustainability or reduces environmental impact – globally or just locally. Ideally, the development of the product/service is finalized, the team is ready to bring it to the market and needs a financial push to start the wider sales effort.
Rok is a partner in the investment group STH Management with investments in various industries, funds, and real estate projects. He has been managing STH Ventures venture fund since 2010. His prior engagements include heading an industrial production company, executive positions in fund management companies and various production industries, and M&A projects in the financial services, packaging, telecommunications, and IT sectors. Rok is a board member or a non-executive management member in several companies in the STH Management portfolio.
Rok holds a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Ljubljana, an MBA from Emory University and is a CFA® charterholder.
